debilitating illness, The Salvation Army Republic of Ireland will see

exceptional specialist and support workers. There is now an

NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER

PERMANENT CONTRACT

Working in Coleraine House can be challenging but it is also deeply

of life we want to hear from you. The successful applicant will be
expected to work in sympathy with the spiritual principles of The
Salvation Army.

_THE ROLE:_

_Working in a professional role and environment, core responsibilities
include:_

* To maintain a safe and healthy living environment through:
adherence to safety and security protocols & ensuring that the
environment is maintained to a high standard at all times
* To provide a wide range of interventions and support to the
residents
* Responsible for the nightly room checks and patrols of the
building
* Ensuring the safety of the building is adhered to throughout the
night
* Ensuring effective handovers and information transmission
* Administrative tasks, report writing, recording incidents and
accidents

_ABOUT YOU:_

* Post leaving certificate qualification
* At least one years? experience working with vulnerable people
* Commitment to Health & Safety
* Capable of effectively managing challenging behaviour
* Diligent and conscientious
* Commitment to effective professional practice
* Experience working nights and/or shift work.
